How to read these labels

  • Likely The class average GPA is at or below yours.
  • Target–likely The class average is less than 0.05 above yours.
  • Target The class average is 0.05 to 0.2 above yours.
  • Reach The class average is 0.2 or more above yours.

These compare you with a class average, so roughly half of each class had lower numbers than the figure shown. They aren't admission probabilities. Interviews, letters, experience, residency and how early you apply all matter. Nationally, 72% of OptomCAS applicants were accepted somewhere last cycle.
